My Tai Chi practice is closely linked to the art of theater: as a member of an independent theater group, i tried to practice it at the time (1980-1982) as part of my daily training;

as a researcher teaching and working at the Institute of Theater Studies at the Free University in Berlin, it was for me a counterbalance to theoretical work (since 1997).

Finally, the encounter with Master Yang Jun (2004) set me on the path to consciously combine theory and practice of Taichi and to try to do so at present in my own teaching and together with my husband Johannes Mergner at YFTC Berlin.
