William W. Wojasinski is a Certified Instructor for the complete curriculum of Traditional Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan. He teaches in Kentucky in Lexington, Georgetown, Frankfort and surrounding areas.
William has been involved with the martial and meditation arts of both China and Japan since 1966. He first began his study of Yang style Tai Chi Chuan in 1992. Since July 2000, he has concentrated his study solely on Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan under Han Hoong Wang, Director of the Michigan Center, and Masters Yang Zhen Duo and Yang Jun.
William believes the art of Tai Chi Chuan is for everyone and teaches classes in evidence-based, health-oriented techniques for healthcare professionals, educators and the public. Offerings also include specialized classes oriented toward arthritis, diabetes, cancer fatigue, stroke rehabilitation, stress management and healthy aging as well as seated Tai Chi programs for the office, people with limited mobility or are wheelchair-dependent.
William has written and published several articles on the benefits of Tai Chi and currently serves as a health care professional and Tai Chi advisor on the Central Baptist Hospital Diabetes Education Advisory Board, Central Baptist HealthwoRx Fitness & Wellness Center and the Fayette County Diabetes Coalition.
William is a member of the International Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association and became a Center Director in 2002. In 2011, William retired as the Center Director of the Kentucky Yang Chengfu Tai Chi Chuan Center. Master Yang Jun, President of the International Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association has since granted William the title and privilege of Director Emeritus.William Wojasinski
