Mario Santoni, Academy Instructor
It was in 1997 when Mario first met the Tai Chi Chuan practice in London, and decided that he wanted to focus his personal and professional pursuits on it. He began his studies in Tai Chi Chuan practicing the Zheng Manqing (Cheng Man Ch'ing) Taiji style.
Once back to Italy (2001), he kept practicing the Cheng style for about two years. In 2003 he attended the School of the Master Yang Zhenduo.
In 2004, he started to practice the Yang Style with the Master Claudio Mingani; in June 2010, Mario attained Level 4 ranking in the International Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association in Rome, and became a certified instructor.
He is active in organizing courses and seminars promoting the teaching and practice of Yang family traditional Tai Chi Chuan, in different locations across his region (Marche) in central Italy.
Besides the practice of Tai Chi Chuan, Mario is working as a healer and a health-social worker in Italy. Since 2001, he has been practicing shiatsu and cranium-sacral therapy. Additionally, he is a certified trainer of circular breathwork, and actively organizes courses on the 'rebirthing' breathing therapy.
