Barbara Caponi was born 19 May 1968 in Florence.
In 1988 I graduated from high school as an expert and business
correspondent in foreign languages (English and German).
Since I was six years old up to 25, I studied ballet, jazz and other
disciplines (modern dance, tap and flamenco).
In the meantime I worked from 1988 to 1994 at a private facility
medical analysis as receptionist.
From 1994 to 2012 I worked as a clerk first commercial sale in
Richard Ginori (manufacturer of porcelain tableware) and in the last
year I was able to get a higher position as head of the sales
network in central and northern Italian for a specific sector
sales. Unfortunately, I am currently laid off due to the crisis
of my company that I hope will be resolved soon.
In 2005, I met with Roberta Lazzeri of the Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association, and
at that moment I finally found a discipline that got me
involved for both the physical results that I have found,
and for the principles on which it is based.
I attended seminars of Master Yang in 2006 in Milan, in 2009 in
Florence and in Rome in 2012. In 2008 and 2010 I attended the
seminars of T.T. Mei Mei in Florence. Since 2008, I did an apprenticeship as assistant to Roberta Lazzeri classes for the teaching of form 103 and saber. I
participated as a judge at ranking in January 2011 in Santo
Domingo and May 2011 in Florence for levels 1-3. In 2010 I
completed the third level.
